Hi,

It's been a long time since I last wrote. Was trying out Mapling as my P6s introduced the game to me. It is quite boring actually but can be fun if you see your friends/students inside.

Spent the last few weeks rushing my markings and helping out with the Lower Primary Games. Poor 4J had no PE because of the event. Sorry kids.

Just another week before the start of the oral examinations. My 4B really needs to brush up... How I wish I'm a magician and can cast a "clever spell" on all of them. Haha.. my P6 pupils would probably think I'm lame. Guess they don't understand that the older you grow, the less you want to feel old! =P Since all of them think grown ups are better with more freedom. (I used to think the same, now I rather be a kid... )

All I can say is, don't "grow up" before your time, enjoy your childhood for it would only occur once. Responsiblities comes with growing up and sometimes it can be too heavy a burden for you.

Time to bury myself in worksheets.... (quoted from Livia) only difference is that I've to mark these piles while she had to answer hers! haha

For those who have been asking, my birthday is on the 2nd Sep! Just after Teachers' Day! Wont tell you how old I am though... heehee

This year is slightly different, it's the holidays after Teachers' Day. Normally, I still need to work on my birthday till the end of the week before the holiday. However, this year Teachers' Day falls on a Friday and the following week is a holiday! Great!

On 1st Sep, I was driven to East Coast Park and when the clock struck midnight, I was surprised with a smiley-face cake. So sweet. Anyway, my bf gave me a branded facial care set - SKII. I've check with my best friend, she said it was easily worth $400-$1000. Opps.. He seems to spend a bomb on my birthday every year.

This is the first year my parents didn't buy me anything. I told them not to buy. I don't really need anything and seldom want anything. So my parents brought me out to eat instead. I got to choose what I want to eat, Crystal Jade Noodle! Love their noodle outlets!

Spent the next few days reading my books. Finished reading "Sabriel", "Lirael" and "Abhoren" of the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix.

Going to start on "The Fall of Neskaya" by Marion Zimmer Bradley and Deborah J.Ross. Book One of "The Clingfire Trilogy". Borrowed this earlier but didn't start on it as I wanted to finish the Old Kingdom series. Better read this fast as the due date for return is approaching.

Going for sushi tonight with Mishal, Eliz, Ai Fang and the rest of the girls before visiting Chana and her new born son.

Tomorrow my little little ones (P3 &4 bball girls)are having a friendly match at DLS with Gan Eng Seng Pri at 9a.m. Come support them if you are free. I would probably go training at night at NYJC, depending on whether my "driver" wants to send me. =p

Thurs and Fri are horribly packed. Would be at some PE conference for 2 whole days! Didn't have a choice, boss sent me. Guess since I have to go, better make the full use of what is taught there. =)
