I've just returned from Vietnam. Unfortunately, I'm down with a cold. It had been a tiring trip as I was constantly moving around, going from places to places. However, it was a fun and interesting trip.
Vietnam is rather poor and a bowl of noodles can cost about Singapore $1.20. Isn't that cheap compared to to what you pay in the food court? There are many road side food stalls which are very dirty and I risked having a diarrohea eating from them. (Blessedly, nothing happened.)
Like I said, I was very interested in the Vietnam War and how the Viet Cong soldiers fought against the strong and powerful Americans and still won the war. So, I visited the Cu Chi tunnel.
This tunnel was dug by the Viet Cong soldiers (not machine) during the war so that they could hide from the US Army. The tunnel is 250km long! I only crawled 100m and was tired after that. It was very dark inside. They had underground kitchen, rooms, workroom, meeting rooms. When it rains, the place would become very muddy. Very interesting place!
It is also my first time using the M16 rifle! My bf tried the AK47 rifle. Gosh it was so loud, I almost jumped out of my skin.
If you really want to know, I didn't hit any target. It was so terribly far away I can't even see it! Ok boys, stop showing off. I know you all have been to NS and shot many times but it was my !st time trying!
